Holiday home for sale - South of France

Now I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this so Admin please remove if it is not allowed.
We have a 3 bedroom, medeival stone village house for sale in a beautiful village 25 minutes from Carcassonne Airport
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/overseas-property/property-42787732.html . In one of the Cathar villages, South facing, and beautifully tranquil. 3 hrs to Barcelona, 1.25 hrs to Med. beaches, 2 hrs Andorra, 1.45 hrs skiing. We have had it for 15 years and since buying our apartment in Portugal don't get over much to use it. There is an asking price on the advert but we are open to sensible offers. If any Grans have friends or family looking for a holiday home please contact me.

I love Carcassonne Avo. Last time there when 9/11 happened, and it was a terrible shock to everyone there. But it didn't spoil the countryside and the ambiance of the area. I will run this past the other Admin, but I am hopeful Platinum members are always going to be permitted to place such posts on GRUS, partly because we value your membership so highly and also because in a sense it is not really advertising as far as an actual product is concerned. So I will make this a sticky so it does not get lost, and good luck to you in selling.

Thank you Elisi. It is indeed a wonderful area. The village is in the foothills of the Montagne Noir and is very pretty with the River Orbiel running though it and our house overlooks the river and the remains of the Cathar Castle of Raimon de Miraval (a Troubadour). The village has only 11 permanent residants and each day travelling shops come up and stop in the village square, sound their horn and sell their wares. Baker one day, Fishman the next etc. The neighbours are lovely, one keeps the key to our house and 'airs' it when the weather is good, puts the heating on in advance of our visits and lets in the man to read the electricity meters. The house is built of natural stone and is medieval, with beams and wooden floors and a woodburning stove. It is being sold fully furnished and equipped and is ready to go. I am happy to answer any questions.

Avo, this is to confirm that GransRus are happy for you to let this 'For Sale' post stand. Our Platinum members are people we 'know' and trust, and the post is accepted on that basis. However, the Admins of GransRus point out that accepting a post about something for sale does not constitute endorsement of such item by Admin or GransRus, and as always buyers are reminded that they should always seek professional advice before purchase.

Admin/GransRus reserve the right to accept or refuse any 'For Sale' or similar posts and their decision is final.

The Notaire (Lawyer) sent me all the documents to sign today and email back, and print and post originals, so looking good. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
