    L'Oreal Magic Retouch

L'Oreal Paris Magic Retouch Instant Root Concealer.

I recently discovered this. I colour my hair with a permanent dye from Holland and Barratt every 4 or 5 weeks. After an operation in January I didn't want to get hair dye on my skin too soon (I do this in the shower) but my hair was showing signs of needing a colour.. I was telling one of my daughters this. She told me that she and her sister use this product on the roots between colourings. I tried it, in brown and it works well! It is sprayed on and stays on until the next wash, after which you reapply. I will continue to use this product as it will increase the number of weeks between colourings. It comes in various shades.

I think the price is around £8 but I bought mine in Wilko for £6.

I was wondering about this Gem as sometimes it's only my fringe roots and around my ears that shows the grey , I really don't need to dye my whole head , I think I will get some as you say means longer between dyeing
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I just wrote something about this but it has gone AWOL. I said that I have been using this product for some time and find it excellent.

I'm sorry to have caused confusion by creating two identical threads!
I wanted one in Recommended by You, and one in Fashion and Beauty.

Gem - it sounds like an essential product and saves a lot of time, money and hassle.

My hair is beyond help, though!!!!

Nana, this is what I asked my daughter!
She said she and her sister just use Brown, so I do and it's fine! I think you choose the shade nearest your colour and it blends in.

My sister told me about it Gem, she thinks it's great, I haven't tried it I think I have too many grey roots now......so don't know if it would work for me, she said she paid about £10 thought that was a lot if it doesn't work, but we have a Wilkinsons near me so for £6 I will give it a go.....she uses the brown and I couldn't tell when she used it..

My hair is more blonde these days due to the rubbish I keep putting on to disguise the grey roots and it is harder to match than brown or black as there are several shades but I still think it is a good product. I am certain it does not cost £10. I get it from Superdrug and I am sure it is around £4 or £5

My hair is a vivid red now,and as my hair grows so fast I re colour every 3 weeks.Bit of a pain at times.

It is the L'Oreal dry spray Pearl yes. I think the RRP is around £8, and I got mine in Wilko for £6. I went back and bought a second in case they go up! I have just coloured my hair, and will do so again just before I go on holiday,so it will be a while before I am spraying again

Zizi I'm like you with varying light tones. Brown wouldn't work for me either. Hopefully I'll be in town later in the week so I'll look in Wilko & Superdrug. It would really save money to be able to put a root colour off a few weeks at the hairdresser's.
