    Nutribullet

I love my Nutribullet. It makes the most delicious smoothies; everything is used so no messy bits to get rid of. I also use it to pulverise veggies to then heat up and make soup. I have a fruit smoothie every morning and since cutting out sugary cereals and toast have lost weight, so an added bonus.

Sounds goo but I fear it would be another gadget put away in the back of the cupboard.

I bought a smoothie maker and that never sees light of day - it did at first of course, but now it sits in the cupboard!!

I've wondered about this. I'll ask my DD if they still use their's or if it's a 'back of the cupboard' item. Sounds very healthy & the drinks simple to make.

I can honestly say I have used it every day since I bought it. I did wonder if I would but it's so easy to use and so tasty

If you use it every day Enfys, that is recommendation in itself!

Enfys - I have been thinking about getting one so it's good to know how useful it is. What kind of things do you use it for - as in what fruits/veggies?

Daisy, it's really a matter of chuck in anything you fancy. When I first had it I tried all sorts, some were horrid but I've eventually found my favourites. My breakfast smoothies usually consist of banana, pineapple, melon, orange, mango, frozen berries and plain yoghurt. Not all together but little bits of what I fancy on that day, I always add a handful of baby spinach too, you can't taste it but it's healthy . I also use carrots, celery, spinach, sweet potato, to make a soup. Tried kale but didn't like it. I also add seeds and/or ginger sometimes too. There are lots of ideas online, too. Hope that helps.

Enfys - that's really useful. Many thanks. I'm very tempted to get one, especially if I can use it to make soup as well.

One tip if you do get one Daisy, don't add as much water as they say, it makes a huge amount and very watery. I only add a little bit then add more if I need to.

Thanks for that, Enfys. I could do with a nice tasty smoothie right now (even though I have just ordered a large Merlot in the Granny's Rest.

If you use it every day it must also be easy to wash.

Enjoy your Merlot 🍷. Yes, a quick swoosh in hot water and it's done

I've just treated myself to a Nutribullet - £40 from Sainsbury's using their double discount on Nectar points! I wasn't specifically going to get one today but with the current nectar points swap offer (on until 22Nov I think) it was such a good opportunity.

I hope you like it Daisy. Still using mine every day, also just had a lovely fruit smoothie for my tea as we had lunch out and I was full up! Just the job and it was very refreshing.
