    Bibado bibs

I bought one of these to use here for GS3 after seeing them advertised several times. They do exactly what it says on the tin!

The mess caused a baby who feeds themselves with hands and spoon is awful as I'm sure we all know. Today's baby led weaning babies create SO much mess!

This is amazing. All the food is caught in this bib and the only mess is any which goes on the floor ( I have plastic sheet down for this) and the part of the tray not covered by the bib. I used to have to change his clothes after a meal, wash his legs sometimes and clean the highchair seat.
You take their arms out, clean the baby's hands and face and take them out of the highchair. Then collect all the debris up in the bib. They are machine washable and to my mind wonderful!
I have ordered a second one, to save me fully wiping it down between his lunch and tea. I just get the food off, a brief wipe, then stick it in the washing machine.

I bought the first directly from the site and the second via Amazon, as when I was buying something else I needed postage came free.

Gem, what a great find. I remember when previous neighbours were doing baby-led weaning with their son, and the chaos and mess was unbelievable!

We used to use a painting bib it was see through and had different coloured bias binding around the hems and pockets , saved lots of messy arms and legs ,
I had those plastic table cloths for under the chair , didn’t always catch all the mess but most of it ,
I remember cleaning spag bog off the walls at times 😁
Babies are so funny when they are feeding themselves it gets everywhere 😁

Oma, I have some of the long sleeved painting bibs which save the clothes a lot but don't stop it all going into the seat!

Gem, I'm sorry, but I laughed at that. It sounds like Eva when she sees someone picking up her harness and lead, only her excitement is ear-splitting barks!

But I love seeing a baby really enjoying their food and getting all excited. Just imagine if we didn't grow out of that uninhibited joy!
