Steam mop

Just ordered one from Amazon.It converts to a hand held one. I have had one before,it was sent for a survey, but eventually it gave up the ghost.

The one I have ordered is a Vax. My previous one was a Hoover.

I really need one of those Nan! We have tiles on every floor downstairs except for the living room. Usually expensive though and always seem to be looking for a bargain! I hope you got one.

I don't have a steam mop but I have a steam cleaner. Yes I am still a mucky Trollope but even we have to clean the cooker sometimes! Also I have lovely Italian tiles in the bathroom and they get all water marked with the shower so I make husband go over them with the steam thingie once a week or so. No point in me doing it I can't reach (that is my story and I am sticking to it)

Nano ! Double wow ! You are a star xxx thanks so much. I was obviously doing wrong searching last time I tried, the link is perfect, just what we needed. Now I can get OH to do all the floors etc as he loves working with anything but a mop, so triple Wow xxx

I have had a Vax Steam Mop for some time, I love it. I share it with my DD next door. The new one that can convert into a hand held cleaner sounds good and what a good price.

We have Karndean flooring in the kitchen & it says not to use any type of steam cleaning. My DDs got one tho & she loves it.

Mamar*, I am not sure if our hall flooring is Karndean, as it was here when we bought the house. It looks like it though. I have 2 friends who have it. I won't risk the vax steamer on it, when it arrives, just in case!

My steam cleaner arrived today.It's great on the kitchen floor.There is a button at the bottom,to release the floor head, to convert it to the handheld steamer. And can I release it, no I cant.I bet when hubby comes back he will do it first time. Has got me a bit annoyed though.
