On Sunday evening I ordered some canvases, about 5 tubes of well-priced good quality acrylic paints and a bottle of pouring fluid.

They arrived via Royal Mail today (Wednesday), carefully packaged, but not excessive, which I think it quite good going in the current pandemic.

The paints I've used before so what I expected, and the 12" x 16" look really good quality - fine texture and well stretched.

But what really made me smile was a hand-written note, complete with little smiley on the delivery note saying "Please share your pouring work - those colours will look amazing".

I don't like to tell them I've never done any pouring work before, but I will obviously have to have a go now with that combination of colours.

Fantastic service with literally a smile.

How lovely Daisy, the personal touch

One of our close friends does acrylic pouring. It seems quite addictive!
I will see if I can post a link.

How nice I've seen a few pouring art bits it looks very addictive to do,
i do like the ones where you pour through a sieve , there was one where it was done using a plastic cup with holes in the bottom and layered colours . Messy but nice

Gem - I'd love to see your friend's work, if possible.

Oma - I'm sure I'll be able to make a huge mess!
