It is sad that so many of these idols end up with drink and drugs problems, which take their toll on their health eventually.

My sister who is a bit younger than me had a full size poster of him on her bedroom wall and a little notepad stuck on it. She would write what she was going to wear each day on the notepad if David Cassidy ever asked her out.
