Very sad. She was only 60.

What a terrible year for celebrity deaths. Very sad news yet again.

It has been a "busy" year for celebrity demise hasn't it however both Carrie Fisher and George Michael had well documented relationships with drugs. Note I did not say "battles". These people, who earned huge amounts of money and were celebrated and feted, put themselves on a path to ill health and unfortunately it appears to have caught up with them. Sorry this sounds horrible but it is the way I feel.

Feel about the same Zizi. Sad, but thinking your differentiation on the 'battles' NON celebs have with cancer and terrible diseases without taking any so called pleasurable drugs are quite different from the "battles" celebs have with their choices.

So many people passed away today, for example, from conditions they did not bring unto themselves, yet we do not laud them or put them on FB or here or anywhere. Their relatives and loved ones grieve, yet they seem almost forgotten. Yet those who have appeared in films or on stage or singing seem to be heroes????

            Doesn't make sense to me.

In any event, Carrie Fisher will be missed by many and so in this way RIP.
