    Andrew Sachs

    Actor Andew Sachs died yesterday aged 86.

    This makes me very sad. I heard on the car radio while driving down to London yesterday.
    RIP Andrew, your portrayal of Manuel in Fawlty Towers has given me many hours of happiness.

      I heard this too , you forget how old these actors are , I still think of him as Manuel,

          Oma - I was surprised to hear he was 86 because I still see him as Manuel as well.

              Gem - I think that's the secret of good comedy. You've seen it before, know the punch line, see it coming, and still laugh. I love Fawlty Towers!

                  Loved Andrew Sachs, such a fine actor. Faulty Towers was brilliant and he owned every scene he was in! RIP, lovely man.
