I read yesterday Celine Dion,s husband past away on Thursday too they have a 14 yr old and twins aged 4 , he has grown up children by his first wife too
How sad to read that I saw a documentary a while ago about their life together and the struggle for her to conceive with their first child and they came across as so devoted to each other.
I too think it is sad she has lost two of her closest people so quickly and with such young children.
For myself I have found the death of David Bowie rather overwhelming. They have had people on the TV whose father worked with him, who met him once at a gig etc. etc. He had a talent, it was of the time. I enjoyed some of his music, I didn't like some of it, he was a pop star not someone who invented a life saving medicine for goodness sake! Sorry I am sure this is going to be an unpopular post but I am a bit of rat bag at the moment.
If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
Very sad time for Celine Dion. Must be quite overwhelming. I was surprised by the outpouring over David Bowie. I like some of his music but much of it has passed me by. He obviously had a much bigger fan base (my niece included) than I realised. Always sad when anyone dies at a youngish age.
Just read this morning that Jimmy Young has passed away at 95yrs he didn't seem to be such an age he always seemed so much younger for some reason.RIP Jimmy Young tat ta for now.
I liked Jimmy Young, too. I always remember the daily recipe on his radio show. He would read it slow enough for the listener to write down, and I think someone in the studio would write it at the same time to check he wasn't going too fast. BFN, Jimmy.
