I don't know much about Jackie Collins other than the fact that she wrote books and was sister to Joan. However I watched a brief clip of her appearance on Loose Women recorded approximately two weeks before she died and I am stunned at how glamorous, well groomed, articulate and apparently free of any pain or discomfort she appeared to be. Although she had clearly lost a bit of weight in the last few years, judging by some of the older pictures of her that are being shown, but other than that she looked remarkably good making her sudden death a shock to friends and some family members. I do totally understand why she decided not to confide in everyone around her bearing in mind the publicity this would have created and the intrusion involved for her close family.

I never read any of her books. I did hear on the news that sister Joan didn't know about Jackie's breast cancer until 2 weeks ago.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them. -
