    Leslie Grantham (Dirty Den) Has died aged 71.

    The actor, best known for playing the roguish "Dirty Den" Watts in the BBC One soap, dies aged 71.

          I read earlier in the week he come back to UK from where he lived in Bulgaria as he was rather poorly,he was a bit of a jack the lad in his younger days according to the media but turned his life around,he was brilliant as Dirty Den he played a really good part.
          RIP Leslie.

              We saw him in Dads Army a few years ago at the Malvern Theatre. He played the part of private Walker.
              After the show was saw him outside the theatre,stood in a doorway smoking a cigarette looking very much like the character ‘Den ‘ in Eastenders . A role well and truly made for him .
