    Kate in Labour

I have heard that Kate is in labour with new Royal Baby very apt if the baby is born on St Georges Day.
I have two names chosen for boy and girl does anyone have thoughts?
    Victoria or Alice
    Albert or Arthur
    Wishing them both well.

Fingers crossed it all goes well for her. I did wonder if she felt slight relief now the media is preoccupied with Megan & leaving her alone a bit more?

Oh hadn't heard that Glamm. I like Victoria and Alice but not sure about Albert or Arthur, might be a bit old fashioned for Kate.

I thought that also Plant but only thinking of the "Royal" names to be honest none of which are very modern are they.

You're right Qwerty. A baby boy born around 11am. 8lbs something. Both doing well. Congrats to them.

Wow, how lovely. I hope they're both doing well, bless them.

Exactly 43 years ago my DS2 arrived, weighing in at 8 lbs!!! I'm so glad there weren't a posse of reporters outside the hospital!!! I just wanted a cuddle with my baby and a sleep after a hard night's work!

Names - I suppose they will go with Royal traditional names, but they might surprise us with, say, Michael (her father's name), but also think Albert must be a front runner, or Philip.

As long as they are both ok that's all that matters isn't it ,
Another new addition to any family is welcome , wonder what the two little ones will make of him

I fancy James for the new royal baby.

Well, Kate was busy while I was on my awayday

I'm glad all is well and baby is here!

I think Philip or Michael or Arthur may be amongst the names, but not the first name. George and Charlotte although traditional royal names are nice and contemporary as well. Michael and Philip, although nice names, are quite dated nowadays I think. Arthur is more popular now, so it may be that?
Or perhaps Louis, a family name on Williams side. Or maybe totally different name! I don't think of Andrew as being paricularly royal name, but the queen's second son is named that.
                            We will wait with interest!
