    This is the Place

    Did you see in the news Tony Walsh - aka Longfellow - reading his poem This is the Place. It was so moving and if you read the whole poem online it’s even more so. It was originally written as a commission for the charity Forever Manchester, but he read it at the vigil for the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack. Even though I’m not from that city, it still moved me very much.

    Yes i saw it Enfys. it was very touching.
    Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

      I spent a lot of time in Manchester in my early teens, and always used to go shopping there. It's changed an awful lot since then but the spirit that supported Manchester United after the dreadful Munich air crash is still there in spades.
