    London Bridge

I do hope this is a tragic accident, not another attack.

Three suspects are shot dead by police after a van and knife attack at London Bridge and Borough Market killed seven people and injured at least 48 others.

Had a text from my son. He and his partner are ok. We had been watching a programme on Amazon and had no idea what was going on. Very Scary! !

I fear for, not only my young family but all young people around the world, . What a terrible world they are inheriting.

It really is awful. People out and about enjoying a Saturday night's fun.

Shem - so glad your son and his partner are ok. It was good he contacted you so quickly to save you worrying about them. I can't imagine anything worse than waiting and wondering if loved ones are safe when something like this happens.

It seems the emergency services responded very quickly - they really are amazing and so brave.

It is so frightening where will it end,I can't help but fear that the public's reaction to these acts of terror is going to change dramatically though, my daughter lives not too far from a Mosque and she has said that the general feeling from the immediate neighbours and shops has changed over the past fortnight so upsetting as everyone I have ever met going in and out have always been so polite and talkable to,these poor people must be frightened as to how things will go as much as we are.

So so sad and scary, wonder if they are trying to disrupt the democratic voting in our country, 3 attacks in 3 mths . I love London but you will never be able to keep London completely safe it's so big so many places to protect.

When I posted this I had no idea that they were up in London about 10 minutes away from the bridge! They got an über car home and the driver managed to get them back over another bridge without too much delay. Probably as well I didn't know!

Can't help but feel apprehensive but we can't stop our loved ones from going about their normal everyday lives. Just have to keep on keeping on!
