    Floods in Texas

    We have been holding our breath all morning as the summer camp that was flooded in Texas killing so many,
    Our friends only child her Daughter Poppy was volunteering there. She has done for the last 3 summers.

    They found out she is safe and well along with her friends,
    Sadly the owner of the site and their mentor has lost her life along with so many children.

    Our friend just wants her home now , as you can imagine,
    What a scare for her parent 😱
    Im not fat just 6ft too small

        Saw it on the news early this morning. Its tragic.
        So pleased your friends daughter is safe.
        I hate water in any shape or form.
        Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

          Oma, you can't imagine the agony of your friends waiting to find out that Poppy was safe. Thank goodness it was good news for them, but tragic for so many families who've lost loved ones.

              Ange said even after they knew she was safe she couldn't stop shaking and crying,
              Poppy is thinking of staying on for a few weeks to help where she can , but Ange would rather she came home of course
