How can this happen (if in fact it is poisoning) after all the publicity about Letby.

Gem, I agree. I can't even begin to imagine what goes on in the mind of someone who is supposed to be helping and caring for a baby then deliberately injures or kills them. I don't know how the parents of the victims cope (if they do). It's beyond my understanding.
