    Northern Lights Display

Did anyone see the Northern Lights display last night (Sunday)?

Apparently it was the best display in the UK for 30 years, and was visible as far south as Cornwall and Kent (but sadly not over our bit of sky).

The northern lights were so vibrant on Sunday night they were spotted in Kent and Cornwall.

The report says more displays are forecast this week, so I'll be outside and hoping.

I heard about it on the news this morning, but we didn't see it.

We didn't go to SIS in laws house. Their DIL wasn't well.
So they were having their 6 month old GD.

Not been any sun today, very cold and raining now.
Thank goodness we can afford to have the heating on.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem, I'd love to see a really good display. I saw a rather subdued display in the San Juan Islands some years ago, and even that was mesmerising.

We've got lots of cloud tonight!

The cloud cover lasted at least until bedtime, so no northern lights down here in the south!

            Was anyone else luckier?
