I can't wait to go into town to see this statue. The Minster is so beautiful and now it has our late Queen on it

I saw this on the news this morning.
Sorry,but i don't like her face on the statue.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them. -
This was some criticism (and a lot of praise) for it on a local page.

At first glance, I though the statue looked a bit stern and more matronly than I think she ever looked in real life, but as it weathers I'm sure it will look gentler.

Yes we said the same Daisy , they make her look stern when I fact she had a beautiful smile and I don’t think it is avery good likeness ,
Having said that it will be lovely to see such a great tribute to her on such a fantastic building .Im not fat just 6ft too smallComment

She looks very Imperial, a bit like Queen VIctoria's statues. Not sure it does her justice, but maybe if it's far enough above the ground, nobody will notice.Believe you can and you're halfway there.
