Harry and Meghan baby.

The baby's name is Lilibet Diana, she will be known as Lili,which i prefer to Lilibet.

I read a few days ago that they were going to call her Lily.

Didn't know whether to post this or not.
I'm not sure what all your opinions are about Harry and Meghan, since they left our country.

Any Birth is a Joy and It is lovely to hear they are all well and healthy , but I think Harry has lost a lot of respect with the public with all this ,
They want to live a private life but splash all their dirty laundry on any American chat show that will have them .

I like Lilibet but the names are trying to pull favour with the public and Family they have shunned ,

At a risk of upsetting people I must say I wasn't a fan of Diana , But I think its time she was left to rest in peace

I hope this Baby builds bridges with his family but I doubt it , such a shame those Baby's are missing vital people in their lives .

Oma - I agree, a new baby is a joy, and I also feel Harry has lost his way in life. I hope eventually he will find what he seems to be looking for.

I've only just seen this and to be honest I'm a bit shocked. "Lilibet" was Her Majesty's pet name when she was a child. I wonder if she has approved the choice of name for her new Great-grand daughter. I know lots of parents choose a second name from grandparents' names so from that point of view I can understand the choice of Diana. But somehow I think this smacks of the PR machine behind Harry and Meghan. Am I just an old cynic?

I'm glad you posted Nan2. A family is a family and a new baby is a joy, whatever anyone's thought on H and M.
I was a fan of Diana, and care about her sons and grandchildren.
The choice of the Queens pet name Lillibet is an odd one I agree. I like the choice of Diana for her middle name.
