To day I have been reading about Dutchess of Sussex's security people requesting people not to photograph her and her friends at Wimbledon and the fuss it has caused imo she should be left alone and not bothered at all but that is just my opinion even though some are saying she & Prince Harry should be more open as to pics of them and their new baby.
Have some of these people thought how unsafe it is for people to get too close to them he or she could become a target for unknown sorces with his military career and where he has served (according to my x-military son) and it would not be unknown for them to be a prize target for some regieme I know it sounds far fetched but stranger things have happened to high profile individuals over the years.

I agree about people getting too close because of the security risk but not to reveal Archie’s Godparents etc. I feel is rather churlish.

I agree with them being possible targets but I do think the press are being very unfair to them.

Clover I so agree with you the names are going to come out eventually so why not now,I am surprised HM & Harry's father had not insisted on the correct protacol in the first place,I do think Meghan is calling the shots in this marriage.( reminds me of my DIL)

I'm in favour of leaving Meghan and Harry alone unless they are on official duties. They haven't been married long and have a young baby. They will have a lot of adjusting to do in all sorts of ways, coming as they do from very different lifestyles. They don't need the full glare of publicity every time they go out anywhere.

I also agree that they should be left alone,except as Daisy says when they are on official duties.

Being left alone is fine, but they also must remember that a large part of the money for their new house came from the public purse. Can't have it both ways, they're either part of the Royal family and as such their duties involve being in the public eye or they're not. If they want to keep everything private, then they must use their own money to fund their private lifestyle and keep a very low profile. Being in public view is part and parcel of their 'job'whether they like it or not. Neither of them are unaccustomed to publicity.

Keep things about the Baby private , the christening has nothing to do with anyone but them ,
But also agree they are in the public eye and must expect the attention when on duty , but everyone is entitled to a private life too ,
Glamm is right about the security issue there are a lot of nut cases out there who will try because of Harrys high profile to make a name for themselves ,

I do think security is being over zealous but no one knows why there could be good reason( ie ) threats etc
