Is it only me or does anyone else agree this comment Jo Brand said about throwing Acid then no further action taken against her wrong ?

The man that threw a milk shake is very stupid but to charge him and not her is wrong also.

She said it was a joke !!!

These people in the lime light should know better and think before they open their mouths and come out with such comments ,
some think they are above criticism and can get away with anything , well in this case that has been proved true ,

I get so angry at things like this , At the least she should have been given a warning for inciting violence because some idiot will think its ok to follow her advise

I didn’t hear the comment, or rather joke she made but I have read about it .

First of all I will say that she works hard supporting the Megan Baker House in Leominster. It is a charity that provides education and support for adults and children with motor disorders.
She has appeared many times in our local theatre here raising money for Megan Baker house. She persuades many comedians to join her here and they do raise a lot of money. I have been to two of her charity nights and they are extremely funny.

Saying that , I agree that her joke was in very bad taste and I do think some sort of action should have been taken about it .

One day last week,on the front of the newspaper was a photo of her,with the headline
The BBC can't sack me. Well thay ought to have done, maybe she will shut up if they did.

To say the comment was a joke is far to easy imo,what is wrong with these people they know for sure what they are saying is objectionable specially with the amount of violent criminal acts that have gone on such as Oma stated concerning Katie Piper,I'm sure charities would still do well without these so called comedians she should have been sacked imo,people have been sacked for less I'm sure.

Never been very keen on her. If Danny Baker can be sacked for saying something offensive, then I see no reason why the same shouldn't have happened to her.
There's quite a difference between a milkshake and acid.
