Much devastation to the beautiful building and contents. This is the second fire there, there was one four years ago.

Gem - I thought it was odd too, although this one seems to have caused a lot more damage! I've only seen it on the headlines, but I imagine a lot of irreplaceable art work has been lost.

I saw this earlier & couldn't believe it Gem. Thankfully there was no loss of lives but I don't know how it can be rebuilt after the first fire. The thought of the loss of valuable paintings (not monetery) churns my stomach. I saw this on the news a couple of days ago. Hubby remarked,that it could have been arson.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.Comment
