    What time?

A comment on the birthday thread about what time on the 31 December was Clover born has set me wondering what time of day were you born, and were you early, late or on time?

I was born at 8.30 am by elective Caesarian (although it wasn't called that then), and I don't know, but think I would have been a bit early. That didn't last - punctuality isn't my strongest point, although I try very hard.

3am, or thereabouts, 2 days after the due date. I'm often slightly late so nothing new there

During the day rather than at night. The doctor was making a house call nearby and decided to call in on my Mum! She arrived just as I was entering the world with the cord around my neck! Very timely. Can’t imagine the GP turning up on the doorstep nowadays!

Shem, the doctor was certainly in the right place at the right time for you. 😘

One o’clock lunchtime for me. Both DD and DS were born at 5 to 5in the afternoon.

I'm not sure what day I was due but I started arriving in the early hours, when all the midwives were busy, so they gave my Mam a drug which stopped the labour and I was born at 4pm. And I've been late for most things ever since.

I was born at 3pm on Saturday. Mum used to say that I couldn't wait even then ...says I was always impatient, right from the start. I used to tell her I couldn't wait to see the world. Also that dad couldn't decide if he was more pleased he'd won the Grand National or that I'd been born.

Nana - your comment about the Grand National made me smile. My mother always used to say her father had won a bet on the winner of the Chester Cup on the day she was born, and he wanted to name her after the horse! Her mum, fortunately, put her foot down!

Edit: Out of curiosity, I've just looked it up - the name of the horse was Imari. It could have been worse!!!
