The members in my Embroidery Group call it stuff
and sneak it into the house without OH's seeing it. In my more active needlework days I used to love to dye fabrics to make things.

Qwerty I would love a view, well a nice one like yours, we have trees, hedges and houses.

I agree that a good de-clutter is the order of the day but please ladies don't do what I have obviously done, this last week-end when my friends where here we looked for pint glasses for a couple of Johns friends and realised we had passed them on to the Charity shop We have views of the back gardens of neighbours which is pleasing on the eye,but a short walk to the bottom of our Road you have the views of the whole of Liverpool Waterfront showing the Liverbuilding and the 3Graces when the lights are on of an evening it is spectacular.

Enfys I do just that! I have 4 large boxes of fabric, some of it really ancient. I cannot part with it even though I will never use it. It's enough just to stroke it.😉
Glam, I envy you. My brothers and SiLs detoured to Liverpool the last time we holidayed together in The North We will come for a break next year as they couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We went to look at a bungalow yesterday only from the outside, it's in a very exclusive road, the garden was large and on 3 sides. 2 bedrooms , one bathroom , at first glance I liked it, we drove down the cu de sac its faces onto the front road but the side and back are in the cul de sac it 's on a corner of a. cul de sac of 4 houses, on closer inspection the conservatory had a flat roof and really wanted pulling down a new one would be £15, 000at least we could afford that seeing as we were downsizing, it needs a new bathroom how much £ how long is a piece of string , the lounge has patio doors into the conservatory but no other windows , I felt this to be a fire risk, the garage wants to knocking down and a new one and no dining room ! They ate in a breakfast bar, no good for us we entertain family and friends on a regular basis I need at least 6 chairs and my big table so not for us, oh and the cost £ 350,000😱Plus at the back where there is some land are 2 septic tanks don't know who they belong to the house is about 60 yrs old and in a fairly residential area not out in the sticks

Doesn't sound like the one for you this time Qwerty & what a price when it will need all those alterations. You need Kirsty & Phil Spencer😂

Good idea to start looking Qwerty. Next door have just sold, it took one day! £325 for a little two bed bungalow. Mind you, it's in great condition with a nice garden so not surprised. Nice for us to know what ours might be worth. Good luck x

That seems to be the going price Enfys not so bad if you can move straight into it but I couldn't with that one think this will take a lot of selling, it's just so annoying when you can move straight into my house sit down and put the kettle on, I know the decorations might not be to your taste but I would have to start building the bungalow again doesn't seem fair that, anyway moving on get the pun 🤗

What about a new bungalow Qwerty, at least it would have new kitchens and bathrooms, you could add the extras you would like.

It amazes me that bungalows go for more than houses. The one opposite our friends is up for £420. I'm out of touch with house prices 🤓

I think it is because far less bungalows are being built these days Enfys. Builders can get more properties per piece of land with 2 rather than one story houses. Hence all the 3 story new builds with integral garage!

Definitely not the one for you this time Qwerty.

We are viewing a house on Sunday don’t hold your breath though as it doesn’t have a garage we need one for my Ka to go into as it’s a soft top, we think it’s a grade 1 or 11 listed as it’s an old property from a part of a brewery so we don’t think it allow us to build one, OH doesn’t think there will be enough garden for him., to potter in, but anyway we shall see , the same agent selling this is coming to us on a Monday we’ve had 2 valuations but he seems to want to come , it’s a beautiful house, smaller but not much smaller if you would like I can send a link

Yes please, Qwerty - it would be lovely to have a link.

Good luck with the viewing. It's very hard to get everything you want in a property, but if you are moving from choice you don't really want to compromise. When you move because you have to to accept the compromises better, I think.
