What makes you happy?

I started this thread because I was looking back on the day (Wed) and feeling very contented. I am happy when I am in the company of dogs (especially my own) and plants and flowers, with the sun shining.

I also wouldn't say 'no' to an afternoon or two lounging on a warm sunny beach with a glass of something cold to hand and a good book.
