For me it has to be 'lovely'. I use it a lot in speech and the written word. Sometimes I go back to edit a post, as it has far too many lovelies in it!!

I don't know if I do it but I do hope not as I really notice it more and more when speaking to people that they add the word "obviously" on the end of it seems every sentence. I try really hard to avoid it now if I can. They make statements which are clearly not obvious and then put obviously on the end. She's having her hair done next week Obviously. Why should it be obvious. I had a phone call from someone the other day and I began to count them, during a five minute call he said obviously fifteen times Obviously.Be careful when blindly following the Masses.
Sometimes the 'M' is silent.

Me too with exclamation marks. I often feel so emphatic about what I am typing that I put more than one and have to resist adding half a dozen to the end of the sentence. Note to self - be less intense! Never use LOL however.Be careful when blindly following the Masses.

I think I say too much of everything!!!!!!!!
Guilty as charged on the exclamation front, though.
The word I find myself using but try not to is 'just' - as in 'I'm just going to the shops'. I'm also a speech marks/quotation marks freak."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

I do think mine has got be "lovely or sweetie" both relate to either people or items and it just a term of endearment,my most frequent phrase has to be "I won't be long" often said to hubby when I enter a shop and he is stood outside his response is always " glamma you have never not been long in all your life" xxxLast edited by Glammanana; 18-04-2016, 08:48 AM.Keep Calm,You're Fabulous
