It is so interesting to read all your different experiences of homes over the years.

It does make for interesting reading. I suppose our homes say a lot about us.

Having lived up North all my life I moved down South to live with my ex-husband. Lived with his parents, then moved into a two bedroom semi when we married. Had two children, moved three times then moved back up here to a
4 bed detached, ( as relationship was breaking down), to be nearer my family. Divorced, then moved into a three bed semi, more like a two bed + a room you couldn't swing a cat, (sorry cat lovers ). Met my present OH then moved to our home which we are living in now...four bed etc. It was new when we moved here 20yrs ago. I've already mentioned in another post that we are thinking about downsizing so we're sort of on the lookout for our new home. Bit of a funny turmoil going on in my heart & mind at the moment. An uncertainty I could do without right now. As they say there's a lovely little home with our name on it......just waiting for us to find it.

When I think about possibly moving again (OH insists we'll stay here for ever!) I can't picture what i'd want to move to as long as it is light and airy. My idea of house-hell would be a cute traditional thatched roofed house with tiny leaded windows and poky little rooms.

Cos I've spent the day in bed today I thought I'd make use of my time to look at properties for sale. Goodness me. The prices of two bed bungalows are more expensive than the money we'll get for ours I think. Our home is more than twice their size. At this rate Daisy I can't picture what I'd want to move to either.

Daisy...did you realise you have posted the same response twice? Time to take more water with it I think.

LOL, Nana, I didn't like to say that she was repeating herself - 12 hours later

LOL. Gem, I was just so pleased to see that I'm not the only one with those funny 'senior moments'.

What happens is sometimes my post doesn't 'work' very quickly - dodgy internet connection - and my posts seems to get saved in a sort of pending area. When I next go to that thread I get a message asking me to restore or discard the message. I must have hit restore instead of discard! Or of course, I really should take more water with it!

I'm pleased you explained that Daisy as I got the same thing popping up yesterday. I wondered what it was about. I just ignored it How are you feeling today...sore throat gone I hope? I'm off now to look for a place to talk about technology related stuff. I'll look in 'leisure' first. Wish me luck.

Nana - yes you can just ignore that message or click on 'discard'. It only happens occasionally and other than a poor connection I don't know what causes it.

Yes, thanks, I feel much better today. I've answered your post on technology - don't get excited, I haven't solved any problems!!!
