I know this is a bit of an odd question as music can uplift us, improve our mood and make us happy.
I'm not talking about the emotional feelings we can get when music moves us, but a sad 'down' feeling.
I tend to get this when we listen to music from my youth, which we often do when playing games.
I enjoy a lot of the songs, but then start to feel sad because they remind me of when my parents were still here, or even the very happy early years with my ex. Perhaps this is just a reaction to getting older. Maybe nostalgic is more the word?
I can end up feeling very sad indeed. I wondered if this was just me? It certainly doesn't affect my OH that way.
