Bravo Qwerty on the weight loss. I am afraid I'm a regular declutterer,I can't stand clutter. My wardrobe is regularly gone through and stuff donated to the charity shops.

Clothes have had an overall I wasn't going to say anything for a while but I have lost 2 stone so not kept the clothes I had, knee high boots with heels are not me now really and the list goes on books have gone OH reads a kindle now just kept what I call coffee table books its been very difficult to do lots of memories and "wonder if I will use this again " syndrome two ewe wood corner cabinets have gone and all its contents but I feel happier for it and have forgotten already some of the STUFF I had already

I have dreadful "Will I need this again" syndrome. I take things out of cupboards and wardrobes and put them in bags for the charity shop. If they do not go immediately but sit around all day then by the end of the day much has been unpacked and put back where it was. We have cleared a lot from the loft though, mainly because we are getting too old to keep climbing up there to see what we have stored. I have lots of toys which belonged to our kids and then used for the grandkids too. So now they are too old to play with those I don't really have any excuse for keeping them

I have over the years Bizzy Lizzy taken a lot of toys to the local play centre and to Womens Refuge as a lot of little ones arrive there without any toys to play with,I do however have a box of things that I just can't part with such as first pram rattles and the like they just hold special memories and don't take up too much space,I still use the candle holder that DS1 made when he first went to school, very misshapen and wobbly but worth a fortune to me,he never did get the knack of making things that should have resembled what he started. Now spring is on the horizon I think we shall tackle the loft again and see what is left we must come to an end sometime in the near future.

Bizzy do you miss the things you have sent immediately if not maybe you should hide the bags so out of sight out of mind till you need to get rid off

I'm pleased to say that with age I've gone from a horder to a declutterer and like Libra, I regularly declutter with stuff going to charity shops, therefore I don't feel bad about it.

I have spent two weeks de cluttering my resource room at work as we are moving offices and my stuff is going into a storage unit. That was quite hard - I had hundreds of various thank you letters and certificates given tome over the years. I have put them in a box and the idea is to scan them when I have time......... In my home I must admit I find it hard to get rid of things but I did get rid of all the defunct baby stuff a while ago, later I was found sobbing my heart out holding a little lemon blanket which had seen all three grandchildren and my own son. I do occasionally sort out my handbags and shoes, probably once a year and have only this weekend out some things from my wardrobe into the charity shop bag. but the truth is I don't like going through my wardrobe as I can always think of where I can wear THAT dress which I haven't worn for two years ........
