    Are you superstitious?

    It is Friday 13th.
An unlucky day? Do you walk under ladders, wear lucky socks, fear single magpies?

Are you superstitious or do you think it is all a lot of nonsense?

I would like to think I am not superstitious, but the facts say otherwise!

I hate to see a single magpie, I would try not to walk under a ladder unless it was too dangerous not to, I feel I have to take my 2 night time tablets in a certain order and am not happy if I realise I have taken the 'wrong' one first! When waiting for any results or going though anything difficult I wear my dad's signet ring. I know none of this makes sense.

We did fly to New York on Friday 13th several years ago!
I was very reluctant, but in the end the date suited the friend we were staying with so I really couldn't inconvenience her to suit a superstition I don't even want to admit to! All was fine of course, and our flight was almost empty (due to other superstitious people) so we could stretch out on a row of three each after take off

I'm not superstitious, but like Oma i do say touch wood. That just seems to come naturally.
We have flown on Friday the 13 th a few times. I know a lot of people won't though.
I won't walk under a ladder,if someone is up it, in case i knock the ladder and send some poor soul flying.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

My mother was very superstitious, in fact, I think she invented it. I am not but DB2 was telling me that his wife is, she wouldn’t travel on the 13th!

We've flown on Friday the 13th - in one case one year after an horrific crash, with the same airline. And our plane had to make an emergency landing after being diverted to a 'safer' airport! That was quite scary.

I try not to temp "the fates" by saying 'touch wood', and 'all being well'. I feel like Nanto about walking under ladders. It's ok if no-on is on the ladder, but I'd worry about knocking someone off.

If I spill salt I usually throw some over my shoulder - goodness only know why!
