To Dunk or not to Dunk?

Do you dunk biscuits in your tea or coffee? Or do you think it's a disgusting habit and should be banned?

What kind of biscuits are best for dunking? Do you dunk once, twice or lots of times? Do you break a piece of your biscuit before dunking or does the hole biscuit go in?

You are a secret dunker or do you think it's ok to dunk in polite company?

I am not a "dunker", it would spoil the taste of my coffee. Which biscuits would be best? Digestive? Any plain biscuits I would say.

I used to love ginger biscuits dunked in tea. Not usually a dunker.

I do sometimes, but only ginger biscuits.

I wouldn't do it in front of anyone but family I think.

We are dunkers. Ginger biscuits, rich tea, digestives, custard creams the lot.
Also dunk chocolate digestives, plain or chocolate hob nobs and bourbon.
We don't dunk things like kit kats, blue riband etc.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I have dunking urges - I go for weeks without having a dunk, but today my digestive biscuits definitely needed to be dunked. I'm not keen on most biscuits - digestives, rich tea and malted milk are my favourites. I like tea best for dunking, or black coffee.

I couldn't dunk chocolate anything, though - it would spoil the chocolate.

I am a dunker! I used to dunk chocolate digestives in cold, creamy milk as a child. As for dunking in company, it depends on the company. The only downside is when I have dunked too long and the wet bit drops into my tea.

Gem - that actually sounds quite decadent, and as I tend to have coffee in the mornings, and chocolate after dinner in the evenings I think I've just found a way to tempt myself with more chocolate! Many thanks.
