    Busy few days coming up!

Tomorrow my friend from Brooklyn is coming. Some of you may remember OH and I stayed with her for a week 3 years ago. We had hoped to reciprocate by having her here. However after initially planning this, she remembered we have 4 cats, which apparently is a few too many for her allergies! So, hotel for her. 3 other friends are coming for the weekend. These are mutual friends. We usually all meet up in London when Brooklyn friend comes over. This time she and her husband are doing a 2 week tour here, so she wanted a couple of days in York. German friend is sharing Brooklyn friends hotel room. 2 southern friends are staying with us. Both love cats so that's ok

So I will be hosting and tour guiding all weekend! The 3 friends leave sometime on Sunday, then Brooklyn friends husband arrives. On Monday the 4 of us are going on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to the coast. This will probably be manic as it is a Bank Holiday

On Tuesday they move on to Bath. I am meeting a friend for lunch and shopping on Tuesday, then visiting my mum, then out for dinner with 2 other friends that evenings. I have tried to change the Tuesday night meal, but the others can't make any other time for weeks.
I will probably just want a night in by then LOL.

Gemini - it all happens at once, doesn't it. Enjoy seeing your friends and just go with the flow!

My week-end has got quieter. We doing a joint dinner party with friends who are seriously good cooks on Saturday night, so today we are starting to prepare the main course and not sure what else in my kitchen. Yesterday was spent giving it a really good clean - Oma and Qwerty would have been in heaven! The oven is sparkling, every last nook and cranny is pristine, apart from the floor which is work in progress! We were due to have OH's sister and family over for lunch on Monday, but they both have really bad colds and have postponed their trip south for a couple of weeks, so Monday is now available for pottering on the allotment.

I love it Gemini.... ' OH & I ', sounds very Royal. Funny how it gives you a thrill eh 'OH'? Hope you have a great time with your friends. Daisy I wish I'd got some BB's here because the kitchen needs a really good clean....oh, & if they've got the time so does the utility, dining room, living room, hall/stairs/landing, 4 bedrooms, bathroom, en suite, understairs loo....I think you get the idea. Oh, Oma, I haven't got a hoover for the lawn, but if Brian's free? Sorry, I forgot he's got the plague, so maybe not. I hope his nurse knows she has competition on here with some of these lovely Grans. Hope you all enjoy whatever it is you're up to over the Bank Hols.
