    Songs which make you cry

I'ma bit of a sentimental wuss really, and many songs bring a tear to my eye!

One the radio just now I heard one which always makes me tearful!
It takes me right back to my first daughter being born and how happy and proud I was to have a daughter. I was only 21, we had just got married and had no home of our own and and owned very little, but we were so happy to have her

Me too Oma. that is certainly a tear jerker Gemini. "Time to say goodbye" sung by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman brings a lump to my throat.

Plant, Time to say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman is a tearjerker for me.
Especially when we are in Las Vegas. They play it to the Bellagio fountains.
Another song that gets me is Frank Sinatra singing Softly as i Leave you.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

The guaranteed lump-in-throat song for me is Eric Clapton playing "Danny Boy"

Close behind comes Eva Cassidy singing "Over the Rainbow"

I would also include Simon and Garfunkel's original version of "Bridge over Troubled Waters", then I heard this

Gosh, I have so many and for many reasons.

I will always love you from the body guard . I was going through a personal and painful time when that was in the charts .

Oh my Pa Pa by Eddie Fisher, the words are self explanatory.
Dance with my Father by Luther Vandross even though I don’t tend to like his music normally.

Oma I also cry when I hear the Last Post being played

Bring him Home from Les Mis

It Was a Very Good Year by Frank Sinatra

Good grief, I really must get a grip, I seem to spend a lot of time crying when music is being played !

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I feel slightly less wobbly today and can bring myself to say it was very hard to choose songs for the ceremony tomorrow,I have picked "My First my Last my Everything" by Barry White "You Are The Sunshine of my Life" by Stevie Wonder and to close "Bomenien Rhapsody" by Queen my John was a big Queen fan and you could gaurentee that if I was out for the afternoon he would have them on full blast he said that was the only way to play Queen.

Glamm, what beautiful choices of music. Your lovely John was so right about Queen - full volume.

Big hugs, I'll be with you in spirit tomorrow. xxx
