This afternoon I entered a few things in our local Garden Society’s ‘s annual garden and produce show, open to members and local residents.

I’m pleased to say I came first out of nine entries in the Lemon Drizzle cake competition.The cake had to be made following a specified recipe. Looking at some of the others I didn’t think I stood a chance!
I was also fortunate to be placed third in the knitted or crocheted item class.
