To day we have booked the air-port transfer so all good there.
DS2 called this morning to see us before he goes off to Mexico with his wife on Thursday we don't see as much of them as I would like but they both work such long hours,his dad has just dropped him off at home so he can finish his packing so a nice morning with him.Keep Calm,You're FabulousComment

Gem, that's good news about your reflexology friend's baby.
Yessterday, but I didn't have chance to post - my GD2 sitting on the floor next to Eva and tenderly stroking her. She looked up at me and said "Grandma, she's so shiny, I love her shiny fur". I don't think it's something many 4 year olds would notice, especially when they are waiting for their second half day at school.

A nice relaxing birthday lots of nice cards and prezzies surprise telephone call from DGS4 who is working away (I think his mum must have prompted him) but it was lovely to hear from him he sounded so grown up.
I am just off to pick up a takeaway from the best Indian Restaurant on The Wirral as a present to myself,John is not fond of Indian but I don't care today he is having sausage and chips

As if having gorgeous 2 year old grandson here isn't enough, he has gone to sleep at nap time, which he hasn't all week!
He has powered through without one, but been tired and crabby by bedtime. A nap today will make the journey home after tea more pleasant for them all
