When do you brush your teeth?

I heard a dentist on Radio 4 this morning discussing teeth and dental hygiene etc.
He said you should brush your teeth twice daily, preferably last thing at night, and in the morning before breakfast.
I brush mine before bed, but in the morning I generally do them after breakfast. If I think I will see anyone before breakfast, then I brush them then to freshen my breath, then again after breakfast.
I would brush them again if I was going out in the evening.
    When do you brush yours?

At least three times a day after breakfast, after lunch and before bedtime .
I am quite fastidious about cleaning my teeth . I hate to feel any sort of food or drink on my teeth . If we are staying in a hotel I will clean my teeth before we go down for breakfast and them I go back up to our room to clean them again .
When I was working it was very hard to adjust to having my lunch break and not being able to clean my teeth directly afterwards . Saying that I am 63 and still have all my own teeth so I must be doing something right

I always clean mine After breakfast , cant see the point of cleaning them before hand , I would rather get anything out my teeth after eating ,
Night time before I get into bed as I hate waking during the night with that horrid taste in your mouth ,
We both a bit obsessed with floss sticks , we tend to use them after every meal , im toying with the idea of getting one of those high pressure water flosses , has anyone tried them ?
Im not fat just 6ft too small

A friend told me that those high pressure water flosses can be uncomfortable if you have sensitive teeth , which I have so I use floss sticks

After breakfast and before bed, Oh used to clean his after his evening meal, quite a good idea as you are less likely to snack later.

Always after breakfast and before bed,if I am going out of an evening I will clean them again just to freshen up,I have a small plate for top side two on either side which I lost to absesses so I have to be very careful and keep my mouth clean.

After my shower in the morning and before bed. Plus before going out, or just feel the need for an extra spruce up.

I've read several times that it's better to brush before breakfast but can't remember why. Something to do with some foods can soften tooth enamel, I think, so it's better to do them before you eat. I don't know whether it's true or not, but since I often don't have breakfast cleaning them when I have my shower is probably best for me.

Tooth cleaning after drinking juices is not good for the tooth enamel.

Twice a day and I use a water flosser at bedtime. You need to use warm water as cold certainly hurts with sensitive teeth but otherwise no problems at all. Out of interest I used the flosser after brushing with my electric toothbrush and was surprised at the little particles that were flushed out. Pity there isn’t a way to try before you buy!

I'm intrigued by the flosser - I've never heard of them!

Nor me Daisy. I use ordinary dental floss.
