Gem - what a good job you chose the G&T instead of the punch. When we poured it down the drain the next day it burnt a hole through the stainless steel sink! I just knew that recipe from those 3 friends of Seraphina would be a bit strong!!!

We have put away the Halloween decorations.
Until the Christmas decorations are put up, we have some new candles to light up the dark evenings.
A bit early for a drink, I have just had some tea in the Tea Rooms. OK, maybe a small glass of Merlot, to be polite

Enfys - I hadn't thought about food until you mentioned nuts, but wouldn't it be lovely if the Granny's rest did a few hot snacks on these cold evenings. I'd love a bowl of tasty soup and a bread roll.
