Grauntie - many thanks, I did enjoy that glass of wine. Well, GD1 (aged 4) will happily be the cabaret for the party if you don't mind excepts from 'Frozen' all night! 
GD2 will enjoy bopping along to the music.
Avo - we'll have to prepare for the party week-end, so we could have serious dress-rehearsals on the Thursday and Friday - just for you and me! Cinders/Avo, you shall go to the ball, so get that dress ready.

Well, I think the sun is well and truly over the yardarm, or is it that the yard's been swept? Either way, the bar's open and ready for anyone who needs to get in a bit of training before the party.
