Thanks Daisy! Just a difficult one with GS2 and I was alone with him almost all day. Very whiny (my first whiny GC this one is!) and toileting tantrums and lots of clothes changes! Just a one off, tomorrow is another day.

I'll have an amaretto with you before I head off to bed.

Gem - most of a whole day with a whiny grandchild is hard going. It's frustrating, exhausting and very lonely. I'm sure once he's mastered the art of the potty he will forge ahead in other areas as well, proud of his new 'dry' status.

We're that much younger when/if our own children were going through these stages - it's when you realise we're getting on a bit, isn't it! xx
