Had a lovely time celebrating Mr and Mrs Daisy's anniversary, champers, strawberries and pork pies (although not in that order) were great, thanks Qwerty.

And we've finally caught up with the celebrations (I've taken the liberty of inviting my OH along just on this one occasion, since we wouldn't be celebrating without him!!! He knows it's a special privilege, and has promised not to scoff all the pork pies!!!!)

Thank you so much Qwerty - Champers is still chilled, strawberries are yummy and OH and I are just polishing off the last of the pork pies. Thank you everyone!

Next year it's Nanto's and Clover's turn to celebrate their Golden Anniversaries, plus their lovely OHs of course.

Sorry I missed the celebration as I don't often pop in,but I've found a few strawberries in the fridge so I'll enjoy those and raise a belated glass of orange juice to the anniversary couple.
By the way there are a couple of dodgy pork pies lurking behind the bar so I'll dispose of those.

Clover and Qwerty - many thanks for looking after us. I'm pleased to say we've had no ill effects from the pork pies. Just a slightly tickly nose from the champagne bubbles. Hic!!!
