Good morning Mariella.

Oooh, all American breakfasts on the menu today, to celebrate Gem and her family finally starting their holiday in Florida.

I'll have bacon, with eggs sunny side up and pancakes with maple syrup, with a pot of fresh fruit, OJ and a pot of coffee, please. I see you've got grits on the menu. I've tried them several times, but can't get to like them. I wonder if anyone else enjoys them?

Oma - I hope you're soon back enjoying the vibes in the Tea Room. And the goodies of course.

I've just dropped in for a tuna salad sandwich and a cup of tea before taking OH to a hospital appointment. It's lovely in the conservatory, with the windows open. The birds are singing and the blossom on the trees is lovely.

Desperate for a cup of tea, I have been to a garden centre and Waitrose. Make that a pot of English tea and a Portuguese tart please Mariella.

Plant - sorry I missed you. I bet you were ready for that pot of tea. Portuguese tarts are delicious, aren't they!

The first time I tried Potuguese tarts was in Lisbon in a cafe famous for them , straight out of the oven they were delicious
Trouble is we couldn’t stop at one between 4 of us we had 3 each and all felt a bit greedy but satisfied 😂😂😂

Good morning Mariella. It's brightening up after a dull start so I'll sit by the window and watch the ducks around the pond. There are some very excited little children feeding them.
