I think I will be having all my meals here today, well actually I will have my evening meal over at The Grannys Rest. We seem to have run out of almost everything, and the Tesco order isnt coming until Monday morning!

So, some melon please, then an almond croissant and a pot of coffee.
All tasting even better with good company

Mariella's American cousin Madison is here for a visit and is helping out in The Tea Rooms!
Instead of French pastries, today there is an American style brunch!

I will definitely be partaking. I will have orange juice while I weigh up all the options

I'll definitely stay for something to eat. American brunches are one of the best things American has invented. The trouble is I'm spoilt for choice.

The pancakes sound great, and I can see there are blue corn pancakes. If you've never tried them do give them a go - they're lovely, slightly sweet and a bit nutty.

I also love the ribs in that delicious tangy barbecue sauce.

Perhaps I'll have to stay here all day, grazing.

Coffee for me please. Melon to start and scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and toast. With ketchup (Dear Tizzy thought I was a heathen having ketchup with my scrambled eggs and smoked salmon )

Gem - I remember that! I'm glad I never told her I like jam on Weetabix (with milk).

I'm just in time for afternoon tea! I think I'll have a small selection of sandwiches , cheese scones and a slice of that lovely rich fruit cake, please - with a pot of tea. It's a lovely afternoon to sit in the conservatory and with the windows open onto the garden I can hear the birds chirping away.
