    Good morning.

Work begins on the tea Rooms conservatory on Tuesday, so we shall be enjoying breakfast in there soon

Coffee and an almond croissant for me today please.

The Tea Rooms are closed for the construction of the new conservatory. The Tea Room walls are being painted too.

Come back for the Grand Reopening on Saturday

Until then teas, coffees and Mariella's cakes will be served in The Granny's rest, along with their usual fare.

The workmen have already dug the foundations for the conservatory. They aren't hanging about.

And have recruited a little extra help!

Today is the day. The grand reopening of the Tea Rooms!

Please enjoy the new conservatory (centrally heated so you can enjoy it all year round) and admire the freshly painted walls and new curtains in the main body of the Tea Rooms.

All the usual fare is available, and Mariella has made a celebratory cake. She likes any excuse to make a big cake

Coffee and fruit salad with yogurt please, to save room for a mid morning slice of cake!

What a great addition to our Tea Rooms. I love eating in Conservatories - you feel outside, but protected from the elements. Perfect for days like today when it's blowing a gale, but warm, light and welcoming in here.

That's a stunning cake! We're serving it with free glasses of fizz to mark the opening day.

I'm not sure about the purple furniture, though. But we can take our time and look round for something better.

But the sunflower theme on the new patio is very cheerful and jolly.

I'll just have a pot of English Breakfast for now, saving myself for cake later.

Not sure about the purple chairs, we need some cushions, they don't look very comfy. The cake looks wonderful, I will be back later for a slice with a coffee.

              How about these?

Coffee and a big slice of the cake please.
A seat by the fire please, its not a day to entice me into the conservatory!

Gem - come and join me - the sun's shining and it's lovely and warm in the conservatory. That cake looks almost too good to eat!

Plant - the cushions will help - but I think we need something a little less 'in your face' and certainly more comfortable.

Gem - can I join you?

I'll have Marietta's home-baked croissants with hot chocolate - it's a bit parky this morning, but lovely and warm in the conservatory.

I'll order us another coffee and hot chocolate.

Qwerty - you could have stayed for another coffee and a slice of cake since you missed out on the parade.
