Just popped in for a lovely warming cup of tea and a toasted teacake. I will sit by the fire and give Chip a cuddle he is stretched out on the hearth.

That dog knows how to live the good life!!!

Plant, I'll join you if I may - a cup of tea and a toasted teacake would be lovely.

Gem - of course he's not a smelly dog - he's a Yorkie. They have hair not fur and it's not oily, and I gave him a bath and put some of my posh conditioner on his hair. He combed out nicely and smells like a lady's boudoir!

Just popped in tonight to put some traditional porridge on a very low light for breakfast tomorrow - just what we need in this cold weather.

Oh good Daisy , he can sit near me then and I'll give his little ears a stroke.

I will have some of that porridge please, coffee, and maybe a banana too.

Gem - enjoy your cuddle - his ears are all soft and silky. He'll need a bath about every two weeks!

Pleased the porridge pot has worked. I'll try a bowl as well, with a handful of blueberries thrown in. Oh, and an Americano. That should see me through till lunch time.

Baggsy that sofa in front of the fire!! It's nasty weather outside.
Tea and a toasted tea cake please.

I see Chips has his own sofa now!

OH is out for lunch with her ex boss and good friend , who is on a flying visit to these parts all the way from Dorset.
I am at home with Ryvita, cheese and a pear. I think I will finish off with a visit to the Tea Rooms, and have coffee and a cappuccino doughnut please

                          Good morning.

I don't want to take my germs to the Pamper Zone, but I will be OK here, at this corner table away from everyone, coughing quietly!

A nice big pot of Earl Grey please, and a toasted tea cake.

good morning, Gem. I'll sit in the opposite corner and we can compare symptoms!

I don't feel much like tea or coffee so I'll have poached eggs on toast and sparkling water, and a nice cuddle with Chips - he won't catch my germs.

I‘ll hovver by the door or I could take a seat at one of the tables outside. I do hope you poorly ladies feel better soon, Daisy when I had The lurgee recently I drank only herbal tea. I didn’t fancy real tea or coffee, and all I wanted was eggs!
While I’m here I’ll have a black filter coffee and a cheese scone with plenty of spread perlease.

Mariella has been concerned about the amount of illness etc around here.
She has made this rainbow cake, and says it has reviving qualities. It will definitely taste good whatever!

She has also prepared a range of super healthy and tasty vitamin packed smoothies, waiting in the fridge for anyone who wants one.
