I have the dog today ,
We have a little time so we will sit in the conservatory and Storm can watch the wildlife safely😁

Just tea and a croissant with jam for me please and a sweet potato treat for Storm ,

I have his collapsible bowl and water for him, but could i have some napkins to put under his bowl , he is a messy drinker 🙄😁

Oma, I had to smile at Storm needing napkins. For a second I thought they were for tucking round his collar to keep his chest dry and clean! When DS2's dog, Cooper is at our house I put towels down on the utility room floor as he walks away from the water bowl dribbling everywhere!

Good morning, Mariella. It's lovely to have a break in the rain, and everywhere seems very fresh. I'll sit and watch the ducks waddling about on the green and plopping in and out of the pond.

I'd like poached egg on wholemeal toast and a pot of tea please. The big apple tarts look delicious, so I'll take one for us to have after dinner with a jug of homemade custard. It's one of OH's favourites.

I don't normally come in on a Sunday but i was passing and spied Daisy,

I will join you if you don't mind,

Mariella, I will just have tea with a warm croissant and strawberry jam please,

Yes Storm does the same as cooper takes most of the water with him,
I have seen where people train their dogs to wipe their mouth on a towel,
No chance that happening with storm 🤣

I can't imagine Cooper wiping his mouth either!

I once knew someone who showed Bernese Mountain dogs, and when they were groomed for the show ring they wore bibs so they didn't mess up their chests with food or water.

I'm off shopping soon but I have time for a nice pot of tea and two crumpets please,
I think I will have honey for them and a peach yoghurt to go with them.

I will take two slices of coffee and walnut home , I love a fresh baked cake 😁

Oma, it's certainly been the weather for toasted crumpets. Mariella makes them herself and they are delicious.

The dog will be arriving at 9 so I have half hour to sit and enjoy that😁

Can you bag me two doggie treats , he likes the liver ones and the sweet potato ones ,
If he is a good boy he can have them later😉

Oh it's miserable isn't it.
We need a few days of sunshine,
On the brighter side I see lots of snowdrops coming through so could be a sign of spring 😁

I haven't much time this morning so I will just have tea and toast with that lovely grapefruit marmalade you have,
In fact I will buy a jar and take it home with me 😁

I will sit in the window seat beside the radiator and watch the village come to life😁

Oma, one of these days I'll get to the Tea Rooms before it closes!

I haven't heard of Manchester tarts for years! I think we had a very basic pastry, jam and (sort of) custard at school dinners, but I never had it because of the coconut on top.

I didn't get a chance to come in this morning,

I think I will have a hot chocolate and a chocolate hot cross bun for a change ,
