I see they are out sorting the Poppies for this mornings service the Cenotaph is looking so good i hope the rain keeps off

Good morning. I hope it doesn't rain for all the Remembrance Sunday services.

It's warm and cosy in our Tea Rooms and that log fire is very inviting.

I'm not feeling very hungry - I'll have muesli, yoghurt and mixed berries, with a cup of Mariella's special cafe au lait, please.

I see the workmen are starting to put up the Christmas lights on the green , is the Christmas tree arriving soon ?

These dismal days make me want to eat. A full English for me, please, with toast and coffee.

Time for lunch! I've just popped in for a bowl of Mariella's delicious soup. I think I'll try the parsnip one with a white petit pain. Followed by a slice of the ever-so-yummy Dorset apple cake and a pot of tea, please.

I wonder when the Christmas lights will be switched on? Normally I'd say it's far too early, but this year we all need some Christmas cheer in our lives.
