Nothing to do with book club really ,I ordered a book from Amazon after my listening to Jeremy Vine on mothers it was a recommendation from the forum I’m on for horrid parents it’s called Mean Mothers amd the Legacy they leave behind , its thick book but it’s all about such as me should be here tomorrow, I had a voucher for Xmas so only had to put £4 to it, think it’s a book you can pick up and put down I would have called it a coffee table book but hardly easy reading hope it’s worth it didn’t want it on kindle although a lot cheaper wanted to delve into it as and when

Qwerty - it sounds interesting, and as you say something you dip into rather than sit down and read in one or two goes.

I love my Kindle, but if I want to study something in detail I'd rather have a 'proper' book.
