    Authors live!

I am looking forward to seeing two of my favourite authors and hearing them talk about their work.

Next week OH and I are going to see Val McDermid. In September DD2 and I are going to see Rachel Abbot. Both at York library.
These events only cost a few pounds. I am looking forward to both

Be interesting to see these authors "in the flesh". I wonder if they will be as you imagine them?

I have seen Val McDermid interviewed on TV before so I know how she sounds and looks.

I belong to Rachel Abbots FB page, and she has 'spoken' to me there!!

It's a pity you live so far away Enfys. Perhaps they wil come to a library near you at some point!

Gem - I haven't read any of her books, but I suppose there's always a chance that a good author isn't necessarily a good speaker. I'm glad she was and you enjoyed the evening.
