Discussion thread for "Making it up as I go along"

I think this was Daisys suggestion.
I have it on Kindle and am looking forward to reading it once I finish my current book.

Qwerty, as Gem says, there's loads of time, I haven't started yet either. I hope you all enjoy it. I always feel a bit worried when it's a book I've chosen in case nobody likes it, but MK's books are usually very readable but not hard going. Fingers crossed.

I have ordered it from a second hand book site. I've had books from them before and though the books are obviously not in pristine condition they are usually like you would borrow from a library. The Marion Keyes book was only £2.59 and postage is free,

The site is called World of Books- easy to Google Sorry I don't know how to post links

I'm goikng to start it just as soon as I've finished the current book I'm reading, which has turned out to be longer than I expected. That's the trouble with Kindles - you don't get the same feeling for the length of a novel - telling me I've read such and such a percent doesn't help much!

I've made a start on this, and am finding it easy to read in short bursts.

Same here Daisy . I started it a while ago. I got to about 40% then decided to put it aside and read another book as there in no plot to keep up with. When I finish that book I will continue with our book club choice
